It’s been a busy day here at Conservative HQ. We worked right through the night to make sure MyConservatives was ready for launch. Now it’s Friday evening, we’re tired but proud that we’ve pulled it off.
A lot of people weren’t able to access MyCon (as everyone seems to naturally call it now) over the afternoon. This was down to the simple problem that there were too many of them! It was a nice problem to have but the site’s servers should have been able to handle it so we’ll hold our hands up on that one.
Thanks for all the feedback that has been coming in. There’s been a huge amount of buzz about this launch, and it’s been great to see how enthusiastic candidates and activists have been. We’ve got some new ideas, and also a new urgency to implement the improvements we want to roll out over the coming months.
For those of you who are going to the party conference in Manchester, we’ll be running a workshop explaining it all Mon-Thurs at 11.15am. Outside of that we’ll be spending a lot of time by the Party Stand giving advice so do come over and say hello. Have a good weekend!

This new site is long overdue so well done. Are you going to publish plans at constituency level for maximising its potential ?
